Seasons and Places of rest
Where our emptied reservoirs are refilled
Of anxious battles and strife
A period, a pause
A need to renew, and rest, or come apart.
A feeling of comfort, so secured, I’m drawn.
The provisions of His love, His mercy, His grace abound
Unspeakable joy, and I meditate on Him.
And I’m taken to a place of soft melodious tones
A sweet smell fills the air
A place of rest where I can live
And I hear the tones of glory, glory, glory filling the air
Unto your name, Jesus, Unto your name.
And I hear wake up, wake up, and praise
A low whisper in my ear, and I wake, calling Jesus,
Unto Your name, Unto Your name.
