![]() If you have visited Devoted over the past month or so you have probably noticed changes. The site is becoming fully developed to help you keep up with everything you need to know about Women’s Ministry at The Chapel. There are tabs for the Blog, Bible Studies, Moms’ Connection, Artistry and more! So, in addition to following our devotional blog, you can stay informed. One of the changes you may not have noticed is the tag line on the Devoted banner. On the blog page it says “A devotional blog by women, for women.” Now, on the other pages the banner has the tag line “Ministry to women, through women.” "To women, through women," what does it mean? I’ve noticed in my many years of leading and being in women’s groups that when a group is healthy, most of the encouragement, insight, comfort, truth, love and accountability comes not from the leader to the participants, but from one group member to another. Women interact around God’s word, and as they study and discuss, share life and pray, they minister to one another. God’s word and his Spirit are in the middle of it all, and it’s a beautiful thing. Hebrews 10:24-25 says, “And let us consider how to stir up one another to love and good works, not neglecting to meet together, as is the habit of some, encouraging one another, and all the more as you see the Day drawing near.” Ladies, that’s what we are all about in Women’s Ministry. We want to provide groups for you to study God’s word deeply and to care deeply about other women. We want to provide a place where you can grow, AND a place where you can help other women grow. All of us bear the responsibility for considering how we can stir others up. We have the call to create the good habit of committing to meet together so that we form the relationships where this happens. As you consider how you might be involved in Women’s Ministry this year, it is important for you to remember that you do this not just for what you get out of it, but also for what you can give. Will you be a woman who ministers to other women in a Bible study, Moms’ Connection, or Artistry this year? Come, be a part of ministry to women, through women!
